What to expect General: Routes are primarily on maintained secondary roads focus on historical sites and scenery, then destinations Twisty roads some very tight radius cork screws Participants should have advanced rider skills Speed Limits will be maintained (excessive speeds (+10) will get you tossed with no refund) Daily mileage can vary from 250 to 600 miles per day ask about your specific tour You can chose to ride in the group or on your own each day Maps with meeting points and times will be provided each morning Chase Vehicle and Trailer Transport bikes Transport Luggage Transport Golf Clubs Transport weary riders Some tools and minimal fuel
What you can expect each morning: Make sure you have your luggage marked clearly with your name and address on the suitcase handle typically a tag. When your ready for the morning ride bring your luggage down to the entrance with you and hand it to one of our care team members. Don’t leave your luggage simply in the lobby make sure there is a clear hand off and acknowledgment to one of our care team members. They will take it from there and secure it in the truck or trailer. Once you have taken care of your luggage please join us in the dinning room for breakfast and our group meeting to go over the days ride detail. You will be handed a map of the days route, fuel stops, rest and lunch stops and photo opportunities and points of interest. Breakfast 7:00-7:45 a.m. Departure is 8:00 a.m. (Listen for the siren five minutes before)
What you can expect at Fuel Stops: We will secure a pump or island. We will pump the fuel you simply roll up and have your fuel filler cap removed. Once complete pull off to the side safely where the truck is and secure your items snacks and drinks are located in a cooler at the back of the truck. We find this is the best part of the day as we gather round and chit chat about the road or scenery just covered. Again listen for the siren five minutes before departure. This is the time to get to your bike and get ready so we can leave as a group.
What you can expect each evening: The chase vehicle will lead all riders the last hour of the day with a thirty minute lead time. This time will be used to get the truck unloaded and your luggage place securely in your room. When the riders get to the lodging location please secure your bike and belongings. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items in the parking lot. At the lobby you will be provided with your key and times for our group dinner. Our Hotels are selected for their biker friendly attitudes and locations and will generally provide a location for bike cleaning or detailing.
Our tours include the following: · Lodging · Meals (group) Breakfast Any item from menu (group)Lunch Any Item from Menu (group) Dinner Any item from menu (1 cocktail) If you chose to eat anywhere other than the group location for any meal it will be at your own expense. · Fuel cost (premium) · Snacks (various health bars, candy bars, crackers, mixes) · Refreshments (Bottled water, Gatorade, Coca Cola Products) · Costs associated to entry only for museums, State and National parks · T Shirt · Digital photos will be made available for purchase from the internet
What our rides don’t include: · Attitude! We are a team and ask that you treat one another with respect and courtesy. While you would think this is common sense we added it for a reason. · Airfare · First night and last day hotel stays · Bike transportation in and out of Colorado
Recommendations: · It is recommended you get a physical by a licensed doctor prior to any of our rides. We climb to elevations above 12,000 and have some long ride days scheduled regardless of weather conditions.
· Due to the terrain we cover the majority of which is highly technical we ask that you have a license for at least 5 years.
What you must provide: 30% deposit 90 days prior to tour departure Cancellation must be done 30 days prior to tour departure (full refunds will be provided) Paid in full 14 days prior to departure
· Your responsible for your own safety and provide us with proof of insurance both health and your motorcycle ( even if rented).
· You must provide proof of a drivers license with a valid motorcycle endorsement
· You must completed a group riding course before departure.
· Your responsible for getting your motorcycle to and from Denver, Colorado we make the following recommendations:
· Your responsible for incidentals such as oil(s), air and/or mechanical costs including material and labor costs associated for your motorcycle
· Your responsible for providing your own motorcycle or rental
· Your responsible for bringing your own gear including rain suits, gloves, footwear, sunglasses, and helmet that you must wear when riding on any of our tours regardless of state law.
